A condolence does not need to be long or perfectly phrased. A few honest words acknowledging the loss and the person who died can offer real comfort.
-
Find the memorial
Search using the person’s name and open the correct memorial. Confirm the photograph and details before contributing.
-
Open the condolence section
Choose the option to leave a condolence message on the memorial page.
-
Write your message
Express your sympathy in your own voice. You might mention a quality you admired, a brief memory, or simply that you are thinking of the family.
-
Add your name and details
Use the name the family will recognise and provide any required contact details. Contact details are used for submission and moderation, not displayed as part of your message unless stated.
-
Review and submit
Read the message once more, make any changes, then submit it. Some memorials moderate contributions before they appear publicly.
