It is with deepest sorrow that Chambers announces the death of our beloved colleague, Isabella (“Issy”) Forshall KC, who died suddenly on Tuesday whilst on holiday in Argentina with her husband, Tim, and son, Arthur. Issy also leaves behind their daughter, Mary, and much loved Grandson, Aydin. Words cannot express how shocked and saddened we are at the news of Issy’s untimely passing. Issy was one of the founding members of DSC and has been a stalwart of our Chambers ever since, including being appointed co-Head of the Doughty Street Crime Team in February 2022. She was an example of so many wonderful qualities to all of us, and will be deeply missed. We offer our sincerest condolences to Tim and all of Issy’s family at this distressing time. We realise that many of you will have memories and words that you would like to share with the family, and each other.
