The exit of a matriarch and icon
Eunice Oreoluwa popularly known as mummy Omotayo was a loyal wife, devoted mother and grandmother. Mummy was a family woman who was committed to the welfare and progress of every member of the extended family. She ran Omotayo maternity home as a family centered facility for about forty years. She was a faithful servant in the Lord's vineyard at Methodist Church Oke Ado, where she was a lay preacher. She was a football enthusiast,, who served as a board member of Shooting stars football club and the Nigerian football authority (now NFF). Mama was a pillar in her hometown Ilare Ijesa.. Her philanthropy and generosity cannot be over emphasized. Among other honours, Mama received a national award (member of the federal republic) for her contribution to healthcare.. She will be long remembered for her discipline, love, kindness and simplicity. Rest in peace.
