Solace of the Silent Stream

By the quiet stream, where lilies sway,
In gentle whispers, the waters convey
A tale of sorrow, a silent dream,
Carried softly by the tender stream.

Here, where the world’s noise falls away,
And mourning doves find their way,
In solitude, the heart finds peace,
In the stream’s embrace, tears release.

The earth cradles each fallen tear,
In its depths, whispers of those once near,
A gentle lullaby, a soft refrain,
In the rippling water, we feel the pain.

Yet in this quiet, a gentle grace,
A promise of hope, a tender embrace,
For though the heart may ache and grieve,
The stream’s solace helps us to believe.

In the dance of light on the water’s face,
We find the courage to face the days,
And though the sorrow may never cease,
The silent stream offers a moment of peace.
