THE CHARITY OF ELIZABETH HODGES FOR POOR AND RECTOR

Activities: The trustees continue to distribute funds for relief of the poor to the parishes designated in the will of the late Elizabeth Hodges dated 13th May 1723 together with a gift to the vicar of Shipton Moyne for preaching five sermons given dates: her own death, 14th April her father’s death, 18th March her mother’s death, 16th July her brother Thomas’s death, 4th Feb her brother Escourt’s death.
